Grand Theft Auto V: Enhanced is the 2025 remaster of Rockstar’s open-world crime saga, rebuilt with ray tracing, higher-resolution assets and an updated version of Rockstar’s engine. Even years after the base game’s original release, the Enhanced edition is genuinely demanding at high settings because of its dense open world and the added ray-traced lighting, though the base game still runs comfortably on modest hardware with settings turned down.
It’s a good real-world test of whether a mid-range PC can hold up in an open-world title with heavy draw distances and NPC density.
